i know a lot of people will disagree with me on this, but i see many similarities in the civil rights movement of the african
american community and that of the gay community. i am in no way saying they are exactly the same or that the struggles
and experiences of one minority precisely mirrors the other's. i am only saying there are similarities. so this is a version of
one of my dreams as i was coming out of the closet: to be out and open for all to see and not care that they know i am gay.
